Welcome

The NSGP Foundation is a philanthropic organization that supports and promotes group psychotherapy in our communities. Our programs include scholarships and training for clinicians, educational lectures and conferences to bring the latest research and practices to group therapists, and programs to educate the public about the benefits of group psychotherapy.

Our Relationship with the NSGP

The NSGP Foundation was formed in 1999 by Northeastern Society for Group Psychotherapy (NSGP) members to be the philanthropic arm of the NSGP. The NSGP Foundation is now a free-standing 501c(3) public charity that supports the work of the NSGP and of group psychotherapy in general.

Why Group Psychotherapy?

Group therapy provides effective treatment for those struggling with physical or mental illness, depression and anxiety and other problems with living. Groups allow us to examine life's challenges and our responses to them. We can share our struggles, learn new ways to relate to others, and take better care of ourselves. Groups are not only effective, they're affordable. More

We Need Your Support

Help us ensure that the highest quality group therapy is available to those who need it. To make a donation, contact us at info@nsgpf.org or call 617-484-4994. We all thank you. More
